LEEK AND ONION TART

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ready-to-use shortcrust pastry
  • 3 leeks
  • 200 g small balsamic onions
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

PREPARATION

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Spread the shortcrust pastry in a tart mold.
  • Wash and slice the leeks and fry them in a pan with a little olive oil until they are tender.
  • Meanwhile, cut the balsamic vinegar onions in half.
  • Add the small onions to the balsamic vinegar in the pan with the leeks. Let it cook together for a few minutes.
  • Add the balsamic vinegar to the stove and simmer until the vinegar has slightly evaporated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the leek and onion mixture over the tart base.
  • Bake the tart for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.  Let it cool and enjoy!
