Lamb chops

INGREDIENTS

For 4 people :

• 4 lamb chops

• 2 tablespoons of honey mustard

Salt and pepper

• 2 tablespoons of olive oil

• 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces

• 2 tablespoons of butter

• 1/4 cup of warm milk

• Truffle slices

PREPARATION

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7).

2. Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper. Brush them generously with honey mustard on both sides.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lamb chops and brown them on each side for about 2 to 3 minutes.

4. place the chops in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes

5. Meanwhile, prepare the mashed potatoes. Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain them well.

6. Mash the cooked potatoes with a potato masher or fork. Add the butter and hot milk, continuing to mash until you obtain a smooth puree. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

7. To serve, place a generous portion of mashed potatoes on each plate. Place a lamb chop on top and garnish with slices of truffles. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
